Girls University the Pee Dee’s only gender centric after school academy is design to educate, motivate and inspire girls. The academy introduces and exposes girls in early and middle grades to STEM careers and leadership skills while preparing them for 21st century sustainability. Knowing the importance of selecting a career path, Girls University launched the “Microsoft Experience Tour” (Summer Edition) providing a day where girls in middle school and high school have the opportunity to visit a STEM Corporation.
Microsoft Experience Tour the Summer Edition tour provides the opportunity for 40 middle and high school girls to experience and explore potential career paths, meet staff and visit local businesses. In order to participate we are looking for girls, who are passionate about exploring opportunities in science, technology and engineering.
To qualify to participate you must:
a) Interested in the STEM pathways
b) Pay $25 Admission (per girl) includes lunch, tshirt and a bag (transportation provided).
Microsoft Experience Tour 2019 Summer Edition is scheduled for Microsoft and South Park Mall. We will meet on June 28, 2019 at 6:00 am in the Belk’s Parking Lot located at Magnolia Mall and return back at 5:00 pm.

GlobalGiving announced today that Girls University has been selected to receive a $5,000 COVID-19 relief and recovery grant from The Red Backpack Fund, an opportunity for small businesses and nonprofits made possible by The Spanx by Sara Blakely Foundation.
Next Generation Entrepreneurship Training Course
Girls University in partnership with Divine Connection Network Association, LLC is hosting a Next Generation Entrepreneurship 3-week Training Course for girls 6th thru 12th grade. All girls are welcome to attend. Transportation and materials are included, no cost to attendees.
Parent and Me Paint Nights for January 2020
